Box Score NORTH MIAMI, Fla. --- The Ave Maria volleyball team took care of Johnson & Wales in three sets on Wednesday night. AMU won 25-17, 25-12, 25-11.
 
Ave Maria had 46 kills compared to nine by JWU. As a team, the Lady Gyrenes totaled 39 kills and five service aces. AMU had 49 digs to 29 by the Wildcats.

Lexy Smith (15) and Hannah Wurster (10) each finished with double-digit kills in the win. Lauren Ruby recorded her third 30+ assist game of the season with 34 in the win while Monique Rivers finished with a season-high 22 digs. 

Ave Maria returns to action on Fridya when they welcome Trinity College (Fla.) to Tom Golisano Field House for a 7 p.m. start.
