Box Score The Ave Maria Men's Soccer team was downed by conference rival Florida Memorial Saturday afternoon by a score of 5-0. The start to the game was delayed by thunderstorms but in wet conditions the Gyrenes and the Lions were able to get their contest in.

The first half of this physical battle was tight as the Florida Memorial held a 1-0 lead heading into the half. It was in the second half that the Lions had their offensive outburst, scoring 4 goals before the final horn sounded.
