Box Score TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. --- The Gyrenes fell on the road on Tuesday night, dropping an 86-75 decision at Florida College. The Gyrenes move to 5-13 on the season. AMU returns to conference play on Thursday when they host Florida Memorial.
 
In a back-and-forth game, Ave Maria took a 40-35 lead into half time. The Gyrenes continued to lead in the opening minutes of the second half before AMU struggled to get shots to fall in the middle of the half. Florida College held AMU to 35 second half points as the Falcons went on to win 86-75.

Deonte Dixon led AMU with 39 points on the night. He made nine of Ave Maria's 10 shots from behind the arc. Exor Torres finished with 11 points while Tejai Allen continued to clean up on the boards with 16 rebounds and nine points. This marks the second consecutive game that Allen has recorded 15 or more rebounds.
