LAKELAND, Fla. --- The Lady Gyrene soccer team wrapped up the 2017 season on Saturday afternoon with a 12-2 loss at Southeastern. The Fire jumped out to a 11-0 lead before AMU scored two of the final three goals.
 
Entering the game with 18 goals for her collegiate career, Senior Alexia Mazzoccone scored both of Ave Maria's goals on the night to break the school record of 19 career goals, previously held by Anne Bateman.
 
Mazzoccone also broke the career mark with 62 shots on goal over her fourth season at AMU. She already held the career marks for shots with 116. She tallied all six of AMU's shots against Southeastern, five of which were on frame.
 
Freshman goalkeeper Erica Larson took the loss, allowing nine goals while making six saves. Natasha Manos played the final 45 minutes in net and made two saves and allowed three goals.
