BABSON PARK, Fla. --- The Ave Maria women's volleyball team took on the Webber Warriors in a Sun Conference contest on Saturday afternoon. The Gyrenes fell to the Warriors in four sets to fall to 3-9 on the season and to 1-6 in TSC play.

Ave Maria returns to action on Tuesday when they travel to Southeastern to take on the receiving votes Fire at 7 p.m.

Ave Maria hit at a .053 clip on the afternoon and committed only 13 errors going into the fourth set. Webber hit .162 for the game and had 59 kills.

Jenna Barnak led AMU with 12 kills. Katie O'Donnell added eight for the Gyrenes. Cassie Davis set the entire game for Ave Maria and tallied a career-high 28 assists. Kaedi Gillman had four blocks for AMU while Davis added three. Daniela Jaramillo had 19 digs. Davis added 18 digs and O'Donnell finished with 13 digs.

Webber won the opening set 25-22. They had 14 kills to nine errors in the set compared to eight kills and five errors by AMU. The Warriors used 19 kills in the second set to take a 2-0 lead after a 25-16 set win.

Ave Maria had their best set in the third. They had 15 kills to three errors in the set en route to a 25-20 win. The Gyrenes dropped the fourth set 25-21 to fall in the match 3-1.
