AVE MARIA, Fla. — The Ave Maria Women's Tennis team played their penultimate home match of the season Friday, falling to the Keiser Seahawks 4-0.
Melena Mourad and Elizabeth Pince put up a good fight in the second pairing of the doubles round, winning three of seven games, but the Seahawks took the top pairing in six straight games to clinch the doubles point. Keiser got the winning point in the fourth pairing. Mourad won two games across the two sets, but fell 6-2, 6-0. Pince also won two games in the first set of the second pairing, which was called in the middle of the second set.
