AVE MARIA, Fla. — Ave Maria Women's Soccer Head Coach Tyler Rosser is thrilled to announce the 2026 signing class. He says, "Though this class is small, it is filled with women who fit our Christ-centered culture and who will be able to make an immediate impact on the field."

Madeline Barker is from Naples, Florida. A junior transfer from Barry University, she played club soccer for Florida West FC and attended Gulf Coast High School. She plays center attacking midfield. She has won Deans List and All A Honor Roll. She is most excited about attending Ave Maria because of its strong faith-based foundation and the opportunity to be part of a competitive soccer program that aligns with my values and goals.

Cecilia Dignan-Omodt is from Sandpoint, Idaho. She played club soccer for Sandpoint Strikers and attended Sandpoint High School. She plays Center Back. She graduated with High Honors. She was also the Inland Empire League four-time all-league recipient and a three-time all-state pick along with being the Inland Empire League's MVP her senior season. She is most excited about attending Ave Maria because of the vibrant culture, student life, and liberal arts curriculum.

Morgan Eleuterius is from Long Beach, Mississippi. A sophomore transfer from Pearl River Community College, she played club soccer for Gulf Coast United Futbol Club and attended Long Beach High School. She was selected to the MHSAA North/South All Star Game and the Mississippi Coast All Star Game, was voted high school team MVP three years in a row, and was recognized as an MHSAA Scholar-athlete. Academically, she is a Superintendent's Award recipient, is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and was part of the Honors college at Pearl River Community College. She is most excited to attend Ave Maria because of its strong Catholic identity where she can grow in her faith, grow intellectually, and develop as a student-athlete.


Hannah Kelly is from Cypress, California. She played club soccer for CDA Slammers FC and attended Rosary Academy.  She plays goalkeeper. She has won scholar athlete all 4 years of high school. She is most excited about attending Ave Maria because she wants to grow in her faith while playing college soccer.

Mia Melton is from Helena, Montana. A sophomore transfer from University of Mary, she played club soccer for Montana ODP and attended St. Andrew School. She plays attacking midfield. She was an All-State selection her junior and senior year and she was the valedictorian of her high school class. She is most excited to attend Ave Maria to play soccer for a cause she finds meaningful and impactful.

"We've had a consistently low goals against average over the past several years," said Rosser. "[Dignan-Omodt] and [Kelly] should integrate well into the defensive phase to help maintain that consistency. By signing [Barker], [Eleuterius], and [Melton], three strong attacking players, we are hoping to score more goals, and I believe we will be a more potent attack moving forward."

The Gyrenes have two preseason scrimmages before kicking off the regular season at home on August 22 against Florida Poly.
