Tim Ladd enters his second season as the tight ends coach at Ave Maria. In addition to his on-field role, Ladd also serves as the program's recruiting coordinator and assistant strength and conditioning coach.Â
Before his time at Ave Maria, Ladd served as the offensive line coach at St. Xavier University in Chicago for four seasons. St. Xavier made it to the NAIA Tournament three out of his four seasons on the staff.  In his last two seasons at St. Xavier, the Cougars made it to the national quarterfinals. The Cougars narrowly missed out on another win in 2015, falling 75-69 to national power Morningside. Ladd also played at St. Xavier, and during his sophomore year, he was a starter on the offensive line for the St. Xavier team that won the National Championship.Â
