Head Coach, Kelly Buikus enters her second season in 2015-16.
Hired in November of 2013, Buikus built the lacrosse program and brought the squad from club to varsity status. In 2015, Buikus led the young squad to a 3-10 regular season record. Six of her players were named All-South Region, while two of her players were name NWLL Honorable Mention All-Americans.Â
At 2007 graduate of the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.), Buikus was a dual-sport athlete in lacrosse and basketball for the Blue Jays. In lacrosse, Buikus was a four-year starter and three-year captain for the Blue Jays. She is currently in the record books in caused turnovers and draw controls.

After graduating from Saint Joseph with a degree in Psychology, she stayed on campus as a volunteer assistant coach for the lacrosse program before accepting a graduate assistant coaching position for the women's lacrosse team at Hood College in Frederick, Md.

In 2009, was then named the head lacrosse coach and assistant athletic director at Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pa. She served as the NEAC conference chair and was on the ECAC voting committee. She coached five All-Conference players and the team was named All-Academic by the IWLCA in both seasons of her tenure.
Buikus has coached at the club level in central Pennsylvania and Connecticut (Still River) throughout her career.
Currently, Coach Buikus coaches with Braveheart lacrosse club  out of Naples, Florida.
