Bryan Viera is in his first year as a student coach for the Ave Maria Cross Country program.
Viera competed for the Gyrenes in the 2024 season, racing in all five events. He contributed to Ave Maria's team score in the first two meets of the season, placing fourth among the Gyrenes at the season-opening Fire Invitational in Lakeland and fifth at the Embry-Riddle Cross Country Classic. In the final event of the season, he placed in the Top 30 at the Sun Conference Cross Country Championships.
Viera was named a Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athlete and named to the Sun Conference All-Academic Team.
