Cameron Barford is in his third year as Ave Maria's Director of Sports Performance. Barford officially joined the University as the Gyrenes' head of strength and conditioning in January of 2024.
Prior to returning to his alma mater, Barford served as a strength and conditioning coach at Redline Athletics in Fort Myers, Florida, as well as a physical therapy aide at an Ave Maria University partner, Agility Physical Therapy & Sports Performance in Venice, Florida.
Barford graduated from Ave Maria University with degrees in exercise physiology and psychology in the spring of 2022, and was a four-year member of the Ave Maria men's soccer program.
