Dariel Collazo joined the Ave Maria University men's soccer staff in June of 2024, and is in his second season at Ave Maria. He was promoted from assistant to head coach in July of 2025.
Collazo spent seven years as an assistant coach at NCAA Division I Stony Brook University, working there from 2005-2011. In the last decade before joining the Gyrene staff, Collazo has been a mainstay in the soccer scene in his home nation of Puerto Rico. He has worked as a coach within the Puerto Rican Football Federation, and was the head coach of the women's program at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras from 2018-2023.
