Jacob King is in his fourth year at Ave Maria, and is in his second year as an administrative assistant for the sports medicine department. He also serves as an assistant coach for the Ave Maria cross country and track and field programs.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina, King was a member of the marathon team during his time in Chapel Hill. He competed in one half and four full marathons, qualifying for the New York and Boston Marathons in 2019. He also held a leadership role on the team, serving as an officer.
King was also a successful runner in high school, earning All-Region honors at Vestal High School in New York, where he was named a team captain as a senior.
