Josh Harriott is in his third year as an assistant coach of the Ave Maria University swim teams.
In the pool, Harriott was a four-year contributor for perrenial powerhouse Keiser University. Swimming for the Seahawks from 2016-2020, Harriott was a two-time Sun Coast Swimming Conference champion in the 1650 free, and qualified for the national championships in each of his four years on campus. He was a team captain at Keiser in 2019-20, and earned CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors.
As a coach, Harriott began his career as an assistant with the prestigious Swim Florida club program. Coaching some of the program's younger swimmers, Harriott guided Swim Florida's athletes to state championship competition. He also was an assistant coach for the swim program at Southwest Florida Christian Academy. In his first season there, he sent four King's to regional competition, as well as one to the FHSAA State Championships.
Harriott, who also attended SFCA, is a native of Fort Myers.
