Mario Lopez was hired as an athletic trainer in 2025.
Lopez, born and raised in Naples, Florida, graduated from Florida Gulf Coast in 2020 with a degree in athletic training. After graduating, he worked at Paradise Coast, covering multiple soccer, football and lacrosse event. In 2023, Lopez took on the role of being the athletic trainer at Lely High School, working for OrthoCollier.
Outside of athletic training, Lopez competed professionally in the sport of BMX racing for seven years. Now as a healthcare professional, he takes pride in helping all of the student athletes be able to get back to the sport they love and are passionate about.
