Michael Middendorf is in his third year as the head coach of the AMU ultimate frisbee program. Middendorf is the program's founding head coach, leading the program in their inaugural varsity season in 2023.
Middendorf is a graduate of Ave Maria University, finishing his studies at AMU in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, as well as a minor in accounting. During his time at Ave Maria, Middendorf was a member of Ave Maria's ultimate frisbee team, which at the time held club status.
Middendorf also took a leadership role during his tenure at AMU, coaching the women's ultimate frisbee team beginning in January of 2019.
Middendorf currently lives in Naples.
