Ave Maria

Santiago Ramirez joins the Ave Maria coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2026 season. Ramirez, a graduate of Francis Marion University, was an assistant coach for the Patriots while attending school there. Ramirez was also a volunteer assistant coach for Wilson High School during his tenure at Francis Marion.

Before making the trip up to Florence, South Carolina, Ramirez was a player for Club Deportivo La Equidad, a professional club in the Columbian Football system, from 2012 to 2018. Ramirez played on the Child, Junior and Youth teams.
