Savohn Hunt is in his sixth year as the student support services advisor for the Ave Maria athletic department.
Hunt graduated from Ave Maria University in 2020, earning his degree in exercise physiology. He was a four-year member of the AMU football program, and earned All-American honors following his senior season in 2019. He was announced as an Ave Maria Athletics Hall of Famer in 2024.
During his time at Ave Maria, Hunt was a two-year team captain for the football program, and was named the University's "Mr. Ave", an honor given to a student that best embodies the culture of the University.
For his efforts within the University, he was honored with the athletic department's GameChanger Award following the 2022-23 school year.
