Ave Maria

Annie Artise has been selected as Ave Maria's Co-Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 9th, 2014. The St. Petersburg, Fla. native led the Green and Blue to three Sun Conference wins this week by averaging 15.7 points and six rebounds per game. She finished the week shooting 64.3% (18-28) from the field and 100% (6-6) from the charity stripe. During the AMU defeat of Thomas University she recorded a career-high 24 points on 9-of-11 shooting in just over 24 minutes of play.

The Lady Gyrenes return to the court on Tuesday when they travel to Clearwater Christian in non-conference action. Tip off is slated for 5p.m.
