Emily Lemin has been selected as Ave Maria's Co-Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 23rd, 2014. The 6-0 junior out of Eastlake, Ohio tossed a gem in the Green and Blue's 2-1 victory over Eckerd College on Saturday. Lemin gave up just one unearned run on four hits, while striking out 11. 

The Lady Gyrenes return to action on Tuesday when they host NCAA Division I Oakland University at the AMU Softball Field. The doubleheader with the Grizzlies is slated to begin at 2p.m.
