Aaron Pigna has been selected as Ave Maria's Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 23rd, 2014. The junior shortstop led the Gyrenes to a 2-2 week while hitting .571 (8-14) including a triple, a double, and four RBI. In addition he swiped two bags and finished the week with 11 total bases. 

The Gyrenes return to the field on Wednesday when they travel to take on Palm Beach Atlantic. First pitch is slated for 6p.m.
