Kingsley Avery has been selected as Ave Maria's Co-Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 7th, 2014. The sophomore outfielder led AMU at the dish over the weekend, hitting .588 (10-17) including a double, two runs scored, two RBI, and three stolen bases. 

The Lady Gyrenes return to action on Saturday when they travel to Edward Waters for their final non-conference contests of the season. The doubleheader with the Tigers is slated to begin at 1p.m.
