Austin Munn been selected as Ave Maria's Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 7th, 2014. The sophomore right-hander went 1-0 on the mound this week for the Gyrenes after giving up just three hits in 4.2 innings of work, while striking out eight. 

The AMU baseball team returns to action on Wednesday when they travel to Johnson University (Fla.) for a doubleheader slated to begin at 2:30p.m.
