Dylan Fugate has been selected as Ave Maria's Co-Male Athlete of the Week ending December 16th, 2012. Fugate, a senior forward out of Valrico, Fla., recorded his second double-double of the season, finishing with 12 points,10 rebounds, and five assists in the Gyrenes’ 85-63 win over Florida College on Saturday. AMU finished the first half of the season at 11-1 overall and 2-1 in The Sun Conference.
The Gyrenes will welcome Daemen College, Virginia University of Lynchburg, and Ohio Midwestern College to Ave Maria for the second annual USCAA Holiday Classic, held at the Golisano Field House. Game times are set for 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m on January 3rd through the 5th.
