Alison Bilafer has been selected as Ave Maria’s Female Athlete of the Week ending October 27th, 2013. Bilafer, a senior from Palmer, Alaska, helped lead the Lady Gyrenes to a 17th place team finish at the Asics Sand Shark Invitational in Bluffton, S.C. Bilafer raced her way to a career personal-record in the 5000M distance in a time of 21:43.48.

The AMU men's and women's cross country teams next travel back to Bluffton, S.C. for the Sun Conference Championships on Saturday, November 9th.
