Emily Huber was one of the cornerstones of Ave Maria's early success in women's basketball, which included a Sun Conference title in 2012 and a USCAA national title in 2011. Hailing from Indianapolis, Indiana, Huber is the only female athlete in AMU history to be named an All-American twice; she was honored by the NAIA as an Honorable Mention selection in both 2012 and 2013. Huber was an All-Conference selection in each of her four years on campus, and earned First Team honors her last three seasons. The guard remains, to this day, the all-time leading scorer in women's basketball history, with 1,702 points.
