AVE MARIA, Fla. --- The Lady Gyrenes were defeated by the visiting Warriors of Webber International University. The Warriors who sit in fourth place in the Sun Conference North division were able to defeat Ave Maria with a final score of 4-0.

 Webber was able to jump out to a quick lead, finding the back of the net in the first 10 minutes of action. The Warriors would go on to add 1 more goal in the first half to head into halftime with a two goal lead.
 
Webber went on to add two more goals in the second half to walk away with the 4-0 victory. Jenna Murphy earned a hat trick for the Warriors; scoring 4 goals.
Francesca Singleton (Manchester, United Kingdom) made 2 saves, while Carlie Frullo (Boynton Beach, Fla.) made 3 saves in goal for the Blue and Green this afternoon.
 
 With the loss, the Lady Gyrenes fall to 3-1 on the year and are now 0-3 in the Sun Conference.
 
 The Lady Gyrenes will return to action on Tuesday, September 40 when they travel to Johnson University for a non-conference matchup.
