THOMASVILLE, Ga. --- The Ave Maria women's soccer team was shut out, 3-0, at Thomas on Thursday afternoon. Thomas scored two goals in the first half before adding a third in the final stanza to knock off the Blue and Green.
 
The Lady Gyrenes drop to 5-7 overall and to 1-5 in TSC action while Thomas moves to 6-8 overall and to 3-4 in conference play.
 
Thomas outshot the Lady Gyrenes 27-9 and had 12 more shots on frame, 15-3.
 
Sarah McBride led the Blue and Green with four total shots and two shots on goal. Anna Organvidez also had a shot on goal for AMU.
 
Francesca Singleton took the loss in net, allowing three goals and making 12 saves.
 
Ave Maria returns to the pitch on Saturday when they take on SCAD in Savannah.
