SAVANNAH, Ga. --- The Ave Maria men's soccer team fell to Savannah College of Art and Design, 4-0, on Saturday evening. Jordan Trinci-Lyne's hat trick for SCAD fueled the 4-0 defeat of the Gyrenes.
Trinci-Lyne opened the scoring with a goal in the 24th minute on a shot to the top right corner of the net. Alex Jamroz made it 2-0 when he found the back of the net in the 59th minute.
Trinci-Lyne added his second goal of the game in the 73rd minute to put SCAD in front by three. He added his third goal of the game with 6:34 remaining in the game to make the score 4-0.
The Gyrenes were outshot by the Bees 18-6 and 8-1 on shots on goal.
Juan Carlos Bucaram and Fabrizio Bucco each had two shots for the Gyrenes.
Andrea Salomone made four saves in the loss.
The Gyrenes return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Webber International for a 3:30 p.m. tilt.
