Box Score AVE MARIA, Fla. --- The Ave Maria men's soccer team fell to fourth-ranked Thomas 5-0 on Thursday afternoon. AMU drops to 1-8 on the season while Thomas improves to 11-0-1.
 
Thomas jumped out to an early lead, getting three goas by Jarrod Ingram (12', 22', 35') in the first half. Jonathan Lopez (21') also added a score for the Night Hawks in the opening half to make it 4-0 heading into halftime.
 
Andres Payne scored for Thomas in the second half off a pass from Severin Abt to make it 5-0.
 
Andrea Salomone took the loss in net, allowing five goals and making five saves.
 
Ave Maria was out-shot 13-7 and 10-1 on shots on goal. Juan Carlos Bucaram had four shots for Ave Maria
 
Ave Maria returns to action on Wednesday when they host Webber at 1 p.m.
