AVE MARIA, Fla. --- The Ave Maria lacrosse team picked up their fourth win of the season on Friday afternoon, soundly defeating Truett-McConnell College 18-3.
AMU jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first 10 minutes of play, led by a pair of goals by Mackenzie Tourville. The Blue and Green would score nine more in the half and take a 14-2 lead into the break.
Tourville, Alexis Smich, and Georgia Miller all finished with three goals a piece in the win. Stephanie Hilker and Katelyn Sherman also finished with a pair of goals for the home team.
Hannah Camerota picked up the win in goal after allowing just three goals and tallied one save.
The Lady Gyrenes return to action after the Easter break when they take on LaGrange College at Gyrene Field. The game is slated to begin at noon.
