WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. --- Sadie Mosher and Emily Lemin combined to pitch a five-inning no-hitter in the Lady Gyrenes 9-0 win in game one at Keiser on Friday. The Blue and Green defeated the Seahawks 5-1 in game two to earn the sweep.

Mosher started game one and pitched three hitless innings, walking four and striking out three. Lemin pitched the final two inning and allowed no hits and walked one while striking out three.

AMU jumped out to an early lead, scoring five runs in the top of the first. Alyssa Colding drove in the first run on a RBI single through the left side to plate Kingsley Avery. Danielle Garcia then reached on a single to center to bring in Marinna Shadley. Brooke Pierron made it 3-0 when she reached on a Keiser error, allowing Colding to score. Later in the inning, Garcia stole home and then Pierron scored during the ensuing at-bat on a double steal.

In the second inning, Colding picked up her second RBI of the game, when she drove in Shadley to make it 6-0. Deanna Stirtzinger made it a 7-0 lead for Ave Maria with an RBI groundout to plate Mosher. An RBI double by Garcia and a RBI single by Stirtzinger in the fourth inning made it 9-0 AMU.

In game two, Shadley put AMU on the board in the top of the first with a sac fly to bring in Avery. In the second inning, Shadley drew a bases-loaded walk to bring in Michella Davis. Mosher followed that up with a two-RBI single to plate Avery and Dessecker. Katelyn Packard added to the Gyrene lead in the top of the fifth with an RBI infield single.

Keiser got one run back in the bottom of the fifth before AMU closed out the game with a 5-1 win.

Gennifer Raulerson earned the win for AMU, pitching 4.2 innings and allowing one unearned run on six hits and four walks. She struck out three. Sadie Mosher pitched the final 2.1 innings and didn't allow a run.

Ave Maria travels to Miami Gardens tomorrow to take on St. Thomas in a doubleheader that is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
