Women's soccer took on the Warner University Royals in a Sun Conference matchup. The Royals got out to a quick start with a constant barrage of shots but AMU goal keeper Erica Larson kept Warner out of the net as the team settled in to the match. Warner finally wore down the Lady Gyrene defense with a goal in the 33-minute.

Warner held on to the slim lead through one hour of play until Lauren Campoe drilled a shot into the net to even the score. The Lady  Gyrenes were reenergized and created good scoring opportunities but weren't able to finish them. This left the door open for the Royals who stepped right through. Warner scored three goals in 12-minutes to seal the victory for the visiting squad.

Larson ended the match with 12 saves and Campoe's goal was her second on the season.

The Lady Gyrenes will next host St. Thomas University on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 2pm before hitting the road to South Carolina to take on USCB on Oct. 14.
