BRUNSWICK, Ga. --- Playing in their first ever appearance in the Sun Conference Tournament, the men's tennis team fell to top-seed and second-ranked Keiser 5-1. The matches are played until a team reaches five points with doubles played first.
 
Keiser took two of the three doubles points to begin the match with a 2-1 lead. Sebastian Ramirez and David Zuleta took down the 16th-ranked doubles team in the NAIA at one-doubles with a score of 8-6.
 
In singles play, Keiser won at the six singles, five singles, and four singles matches to reach five points. The other three matches were stopped before being completed with Keiser having already secured their spot in the finals.
 
Although unfinished, the Gyrenes were giving the #2 team in the NAIA all they could handle. Ramirez won the first set against Keiser's top player and the third-ranked player in the NAIA 6-4 and was trailing 1-0 in the second set before the match was stopped.
 
David Zuleta was tied 6-6 in the first set against the 20th-ranked player in the NAIA.
 
AMU finishes the season with a 9-5 overall record.
