Victories at the first and third positions in doubles play powered the Gyrenes to the first point of the match. Lara Teodoro and Julia Candiotto combined for a 6-3 win at the top spot, while Katie Fuller and Aethielle Kelkboom picked up a 7-6 win in the third position. John Carroll's win in doubles play was provided by Alyssa Krupp and Kathryn Mattimoe, who defeated Amarlia Benn and Kelly Oliveira, 6-3.

Singles play saw the Gyrenes roll to each of their three wins, dropping just three points in the three matches. Teodoro swept her opponent at the number one spot, winning 6-0, 6-0.
