Biography

As a Junior in 2014: Played in 46 games during her junior campaign and started 44 of them...recorded a .304 batting average on the year...totaled a team-best 30 RBI, 15 extra-base hits, including three homeruns, seven doubles, and five triples...drew a team-leading 23 walks and was second on the team with 64 total bases...tied a career-high three hits versus Edward Waters on 2/8/14 and again on 4/12/14...recorded a career high four RBI versus Edward Waters on 4/12/14 and again versus Thomas (Ga.) on 4/25/14...named TSC Player Of The Week for the week ending 2/9/14...received TSC Honorable Mention All-Conference accolades...named to the USCAA All-America Second Team and USCAA Small College World Series All-Tournament Team.

As a Sophomore in 2013: Red-shirted for the season following a torn posterior cruciate ligament (PCL).

As a Freshman in 2012: Played in all 35 games and started 34 of them during her freshman season...recorded a team-leading .356 batting average on the year...totaled a team-best 54 total bases, 31 hits, 15 runs, 14 RBI, nine doubles and four home runs...had a career-high three hits versus Point Park (Pa.) on 3/8/12 and again versus Northwood on 3/10/12...received TSC First Team All-Conference accolades and selected for the team MVP award.

Personal: The daughter of Kim and Shad Benson...she is one of four children...born March 16th, 1993...majoring in Biology.
