Kevin Allen enters his third season with Ave Maria as Associate Athletics Director. He will be responsible for overseeing student workers, setup and cleanup of facilities, and overseeing concessions among other duties. Allen will also help with the women's basketball team as an assistant coach.

Prior to Ave Maria, Kevin was the Athletic Director at Great Hearts Cicero Preparatory Academy in Scottsdale, Ariz., where he managed 12 sports, 20 teams, and 28 coaches. From 2007-2015, Allen was the Athletic Director at Saint Joseph Academy in San Marcos, Calif., and coached their boys and girls basketball and girls volleyball teams. At Saint Joseph, he also taught physical education, health, geography and religion.

Kevin is a 2007 graduate of Franciscan University where he received his Bachelor degree in Communications. He went on to receive his Master degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University (Calif.) in 2010.

While at Franciscan, Allen was a four-year letterwinner in basketball and spent two years as a team captain.

Allen currently resides in Ave Maria, Fla.
