Wes Pollock is in his second year as an assistant coach on the Ave Maria University softball staff. Pollock serves as the program's top assistant and recruiting coordinator, and played a major role in AMU's resurgence during the 2022 campaign.
Pollock came to AMU after spending time at both the club and high school softball levels. Immediately before his Ave Maria tenure, Pollock was the head coach at Windermere Preparatory High School, where he was named the 2021 FACA High School Softball Coach of the Year. He guided Windermere Prep to a 25-2 record and a berth in the state championship game. On the club circuit, he was the Head Coach and General Manager of the Windermere Wildfire Softball Travel Club, where he racked up four Florida state championships, as well as more than 600 total wins.Â
