Matt Chattin has been selected as Ave Maria's Co-Male Athlete of the Week ending December 16th, 2012. Chattin, a junior guard out of Groveland, Fla. led AMU over Florida College on Saturday. He finished with 19 points, three assists, and two steals in the game.The Gyrenes finished the first half of the season at 11-1 overall and 2-1 in The Sun Conference.
The Gyrenes will welcome Daemen College, Virginia University of Lynchburg, and Ohio Midwestern College to Ave Maria for the second annual USCAA Holiday Classic, held at the Golisano Field House. Game times are set for 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m on January 3rd through the 5th.
