Ave Maria

Trace McDermott has been selected as Ave Maria's Male Athlete of the Week ending April 21st, 2013. McDermott, a senior infielder out of Park Ridge, N.J. helped lead the Gyrenes to two wins this week. McDermott recorded three multiple-hit games and finished the week batting .500 (8-16) with six runs scored, three RBI, and a double.

The Gyrenes return to the field on the road, Tuesday, at Northwood University to complete game 3 of their conference series. The game is slated to resume at 4p.m.
