AMU comes into action this week looking to snap a seven game losing streak. If the Blue and Green are going to move back into the win column, they will need their offense to step up. Freshman Anna Organvidez and Sophomore Anne Bateman have lead the Lady Gyrenes offense through this portion of the season. Bateman has registered 10 points, while Organvidez has chipped in five points of her own. Goalkeeper Francesca Singleton has anchored the defense, recording 66 saves this season, averaging six per contest.

The Lady Gyrenes will square off with the Cougars on Tuesday afternoon looking for revenge, as the Blue and Green were defeated by CCC in their lone matchup last season, 6-2. The Cougars will be led by their defense which has notched six shutouts in 12 of their games this season. The AMU defense will have to slow down Cougars freshman Kelsey Murphy who will come into Tuesday's matchup leading CCC with 12 goals.

Opponent: Johnson and Wales University Wildcats

The Blue and Green and the Wildcats will meet Thursday afternoon in a rematch of their early season non-conference matchup. In their first meeting, AMU was able to walk away with a 1-0 victory. The offense of the Wildcats has struggled this season, as they are averaging less than one goal per game, on their way to their 3-8 record. During their current three game losing streak JWU has scored just one goal. Michelle Mejia has been the offensive bright spot for the Wildcats this season, scoring three goals in just three games started.

Opponent: Northwood University Seahawks
Date: Saturday, October 25, 2014
Opening Kick: 4:00pm
Location: Arrigo-Vecellio Soccer Field, Northwood University

Scouting Northwood University 10-4-2 (7-0 Sun Conference)

The Seahawks will look to remain perfect in TSC play when they welcome the Lady Gyrenes to West Palm Beach on Saturday afternoon. The Blue and Green are going to have to slow down the high flying Seahawks offense, which is averaging three and half goals per game this season. Johanna Engberg leads the Northwood offense with 20 goals through the first 16 games. In addition to her 20 goals, Engberg has notched 11 assists, which gives her the Sun Conference lead in goals, assists and points.
