Blue and Green Welcome SEU For Senior Day

AVE MARIA, Fla. --- The Lady Gyrenes return to the pitch, Saturday, October 11th when they take on the Southeastern University Fire. The Blue and Green will be looking for revenge, having been defeated by the Fire last season in their lone matchup. Prior to the match, the Ave Maria Lady Gyrenes will be honoring their four senior players in a brief ceremony.

AMU will look to get their offense going against the Fire, having been held scoreless in their last three contests. Anne Bateman and Anna Organvidez have led the AMU offense through this point in the season, ranking first and second on the team in goals scored and points. Goalkeeper Francesca Singleton is averaging nearly five saves per contest and ranks second in the TSC in total saves with 46.

The SEU Fire will look for the same offensive production from last season that led them to a 5-0 victory over the Ave Maria Gyrenes. This season, the Southeastern offense has been led by the duo of Alyssa Kaminski and Becky Reynolds. The two are tied for the team lead in goals scored, while Kaminski has the slight edge over Reynolds in point, leading the team with eight.
