Week Four Game Notes
AVE MARIA, Fla. --- This week begins the TSC portion of the schedule for the Lady Gyrenes women's soccer program. The Blue and Green will welcome conference foe's Warner to Ave Maria this Thursday and Webber International on Saturday. This will be the first matchup between the Gyrenes and these two schools since 2012.

The Lady Gyrenes will look to continue their winnings ways as they begin TSC play this week. Sophomore Anne Bateman will come into action tied for ninth place in the Sun Conference in goals scored, with three. Bateman is not the only top ten performer for the Blue and Green, sophomore goalkeeper Francesca Singleton ranks eighth in the conference in saves, averaging nearly four per game through this point of the season. In their most recent contest, the Lady Gyrenes defeated Johnson and Wales 1-0 behind a goal by Bateman.

The Royals will enter play on Thursday afternoon riding a three game winning streak. During the streak, the Warner offense has been averaging nearly four goals per game. Junior Jamie Murray has done much of the damage for the WU offense, tallying four goals in just three games played. Murray's nine points leads all Royals. Freshman, Breanna Martin will accompany Murray on the attack. Martin has started all four games this season for the Royals and has chipped in three goals and an assist.

The Warriors will begin play this week looking for their first win of the 2014 season. In three games played this year, the Warriors have been outshot 62-20 by their opponents, with 37 of those 62 shots coming on net. Webber will need their offense to pick up the slack left by the defense; the Warriors have recorded just three goals this season. Junior forward Cierra Abundez has led the offensive attack for Webber, finding the back of the net twice this season.
