AVE MARIA, Fla. --- The Ave Maria men's and women's tennis teams were in action on Saturday afternoon against Webber International at the AMU Tennis Facility. The women's team fell to Webber 6-3 while the men's side was swept 9-0.
 
Both teams return to action on Feb. 28 when they travel to West Palm Beach to take on Northwood University in a 10 a.m. start. This will be the final Sun Conference match of the season for both teams before finishing with several non-conference match-ups.
 
Marianna Vargas and Mary Kate Lee won their doubles match 8-0. Vargas and Lee both also won their singles match. Vargas won at one-singles 6-0, 6-3 while Lee won at two-singles 6-2, 6-2.
