Box Score TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. --- The Ave Maria women's soccer team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 4-0 win against Florida College on Saturday afternoon. Freshman Sarah McBride scored a pair of goals in the win for the Lady Gyrenes.
 
McBride scored on a header to get things started for the Blue and Green before Anne Bateman scored to make it 2-0 in favor of AMU. Anna Koerner added in a goal for the Lady Gyrenes on a header to make it 3-0 before McBride's second goal of the game brought us to the 4-0 final.
 
AMU had seven shots, five on goal, compared to three shots by Florida College.
 
Francesca Singleton improved to 2-0 on the season with her second shutout in a row. Singleton made three saves on the afternoon.

The Blue and Green return to the pitch on Wednesday when they travel to Miami Gardens to take on St. Thomas in a non-conference matchup.
