AVE MARIA, Fla. --- The Ave Maria Men's Soccer Team fell to Savannah College of Art and Design 3-0 on senior day this afternoon. SCAD scored twice in the first half and added one score in the second to put away AMU.
 
Alejandro Gil got the scoring started for SCAD with a goal in the 33rd minute to make it 1-0. Gonzalo Gelso made it 2-0 SCAD in the first half with a goal in the 37th minute. Kaleem Haitham netted the final goal for the Bees in the 76th minute to make it 3-0.
 
SCAD outshot AMU 18-11 and 8-2 on shots on goal.
 
Senior Michael O'Donnell got the start in net for AMU and made five saves in the loss.
 
Prior to the game, Ave Maria recognized its six seniors.
 
The Gyrenes return to the field on Thursday when they travel to Florida Memorial.
