ORLANDO, Fla. --- The Ave Maria men's and women's tennis teams dropped a pair of neutral site matches to Aquinas College and Young Harris University over the past few days. Both teams return to action on Thursday when they host Midland University (Neb.) at the AMU Tennis Facility at 3 p.m.
On the men's side, AMU fell to Aquinas 8-1 on Saturday. Daniel Pardo and Zach Sadusky won, 8-6, at two-doubles for the Gyrenes lone point. The Blue and Green were then swept, 9-0, by Young Harris on Tuesday afternoon.
The women's tennis team also fell to Aquinas 8-1. Marianna Vargas and Mary Kate Lee picked up a win at one-doubles by a score of 8-5. The Lady Gyrenes were also outdone by Young Harris by a score of 9-0.
