MIAMI, Fla. - The Ave Maria University Men's Ultimate Frisbee team delivered solid performances in a tournament hosted by the University of Miami on Saturday, November 11th, concluding their preseason with a commendable 7-0 record.
Facing the University of Miami in their first match, Ave's offense performed well in the first half, securing an 8-3 lead at halftime. Despite a strong comeback attempt by Miami in the second half, Ave adapted swiftly, maintaining their intensity and ultimately winning with a score of 13-5.

Coach Middendorf expressed satisfaction with the team's performance, stating, "This is probably one of the strongest preseasons we have had as a team. Our team is really in sync right now, and the guys are aligned with having an equally strong season. God has really blessed us so far, and we will continue to express our gratitude and praise to Him."
Despite being a young team with only two seniors, Ave Maria's ultimate frisbee squad has quickly embraced both offensive and defensive strategies. A highlight of the preseason has been the team's effective communication on offense.
