Lady Gyrenes Move Up One Spot After Final Round

INNISBROOK, Fla. ---
The Ave Maria women's golf team moved up one spot to 12th place after a team score of 352 in the final round of the USCB Innisbrook Invitational. Ave Maria finished the 36-hole tournament at 707.
 
Bianca Vicioso tied for 28th place after a second round 84 to finish at 165. Kayla Longo fired an 88 in round two to finish at 188 followed by Jessica Licari with an 89 to finish at 175. Sarah Notaro and Claire Hunn each carded a 91 on Tuesday to finish at 183 and 187, respectively.
 
SCAD-Savannah won the team tournament with back-to-back rounds of 306 to edge out Dalton State by five. USCB finished third at 622. Coastal Georgia's Diane Lim was the low individual at 145 after rounds of 69 and 76.
 
The Lady Gyrenes return to the course on Oct. 17 when they begin the Thomas Women's Invitational at Kinderlou Forest GC in Valdosta, Ga.
