Round 1 Results
WINTER HAVEN, Fla. --- The Ave Maria Women's Golf "B" team began the 16th Annual Webber Invitational on Monday morning. The Lady Gyrenes opened the two-day, 36-hole tournament with a 431 and are currently in fifth place.

The tournament is being played at The Country Club of Winter Haven. The course on Monday played 6,037 yards and at a par of 73.

Valerie Bertuccelli led the Blue and Green with a 97 in round one. Other scores for AMU were Taylor Robinson and Mary Michelle Crush at 109 and Markelle Gateley at 116.

Keiser's Elsa Westin is the low individual after round one with a three-over par 76. William Carey is the low team with a team score of 314. Keiser is five strokes back in second place at 319.

The tournament will conclude tomorrow morning with 18 holes beginning at 8:30 am.
